I'm from a small farm in Texas, where few, if any, women are allowed to pursue education. I was constantly discouraged from pursuing my dreams, but I fought anyway. I worked my way into Texas A&M, and eventually even earned a spot at Stanford Law School.
I decided to work for President Obama's Justice Department, fighting for people's rights. I then spent my career fighting for rights of employees, seniors, and veterans.
For the last few years, I have worked as a Special Commissioner, balancing the needs of government and taxpayers.
I've been a fighter my entire life, and now I'm asking for the opportunity to fight for you as your next County Commissioner.
